Case study · Personal brand, website and launch
A personal brand built on trust.
Alli Patterson is a teaching pastor at Crossroads Church in Cincinnati, an author and a conference founder. People look her up before they listen to her. digifora rebuilt her brand, her website and her content, then helped launch her book to the top of its Amazon category.

01 · The client
When people search your name, the first look has to build trust.
As a woman teaching from a visible pulpit, Alli lives with a lot of scrutiny. Her name gets searched before she speaks, before someone buys her book and before a church invites her to teach.
She had already invested in a personal brand with another firm, and it never felt like her. She wanted a brand that sounded like her, looked like her and earned trust on first contact.

02 · The challenge
Three big things, all at once.
A brand that didn't fit
The existing brand missed her personality and her preferences. Starting over meant earning her trust before designing anything.
A site that had to do more
Her website needed to hold articles, Bible studies, free resources, speaking requests and a new book, and still feel simple.
A book on the way
Blueprint for Belonging was headed to release, and everything above needed to be ready before launch day.
03 · The process
We listened before we designed.
Our team flew in to meet Alli in person and got to know her as a teacher, a wife, a mom and a lifelong student of the Bible.
- 01
Listen
In-person meetings and interviews to learn what she loved, what she didn't and what she wanted people to feel.
- 02
Tell her story
A brand story and voice built on 3 promises: know the Bible, hear from God and live your faith.
- 03
Design the identity
Logo concepts and 3 rounds of color exploration, ending in a monogram, wordmark, palette and type system.
- 04
Plan the content
A long-form content strategy built on what her audience searches for, plus a social strategy and calendar.
- 05
Rebuild the site
A new allipatterson.com with her articles, redesigned Bible studies and a free resource signup that delivers by email.
- 06
Launch the book
Launch creative and promotion for Blueprint for Belonging, alongside her publisher.
04 · The brand
Be brave enough to be truly known.
That line from her brand story became the filter for every choice. Alli doesn't do shallow, fake or perfect, so her brand doesn't either.

The mark
An interlocking A and P monogram leads, with a wordmark for when her full name needs to show. Both are set in Bookmania, a classic serif with warmth and character, paired with Proxima Nova for easy reading.
The voice
The promise
Know the Bible. Hear from God. Live your faith. Every article, study and post maps back to one of the 3.
The palette
Oxford Blue#011638
Vista Blue#809BCE
Cornsilk#FEFAE1
Fawn#EAB27A
Caramel#D38042

05 · The website
Hello, World. A reintroduction.
We rebuilt her site from the ground up at allipatterson.com, moved her articles and resources over, and redesigned every Bible study to match the new brand.

06 · The book launch
Blueprint for Belonging went to #1.
Her publisher led the release. We built the launch creative and promotion around it, with her new brand, site and email list ready to catch the attention.

07 · Content that keeps working
Written to be found, and still found.
Every article in the content plan started with what her audience was already searching for. "When God Speaks, Answer With HINENI" went live in late 2024 and is still the most-visited page on her site from Google.
